The Work Options Manager is responsible for providing leadership and a structure, which supports staff in providing high quality vocational and alternatives to vocational training. The Work Options Manager in coordination with the RN, trains and models the skills and personal characteristics necessary for working with, caring for, and winning the respect of persons with developmental disabilities. The position develops a network of professionals and advocates that provides support to the participants.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
The Youth & Family Consultant supports families, kinship and/or foster families to raise their children well, through development of their potential, and live responsibly at home and in the community. The Youth & Family Consultant reports to the Family Support Program Director.
1. BA/BS degree in social or behavioral sciences and three years of relevant work, education, or experience or MA preferred in social or behavioral sciences and one years relevant experience. Preference is given to applicants holding a Masters Degree.

The DCP is responsible for implementing the training programs and developmental activities that comprise the Individual Support Plan of each client. The DCP may work alone at times and is responsible for medically fragile clients and handles urgent or emergent situations. DCP’s may be assigned to one or two group homes with a set shift and schedule.
